I love that it have a big hot spot,i hate flashlights with small hotspot witch at 20 meters iluminate a diameter of 1 meter,it doesint give me enough information at what im looking.
Good light, i love that is programable, i also like mode 3, but in low mode have awfull pvm,i hate that flikering,thats why i buy and love the nitecore MT2A PRO.😊
I like streamlight alot, mainly the stylus pro pen light 100 lumen and their strion lights but I've gotta say that I dont see this protac being more useful for me than my Fenix E20 because mine is easier for mode switch low to high compared to this protac that you need to switch it off then back on and that ten tap kinda bothers me, the only real advantage i see with this protac is the beam pattern being a great spot and just simply brighter than mine,, my E20 goes to 350 lumen and has more of a star or pencil beam throw witch actually throws very far for such a small light and I mean it'll light up a field, so I believe ill just stay with my Fenix E20 and not go for this protac, Nice light just not for me, Nice video

It doesn’t stay on. No matter what setting it’s on. It goes off by itself after about 4 seconds.

Huge Streamlight fan when servicing L-1011's mid eighties Mpls when 35below zero.
Purchased at St Paul Cop shop 4 D size, where flight engineer grabbed me every morning for final walk around, and the only flashlight at night to see up the tail rudder 30 ft up.
And still have it. Modified with 2 Step LED, best lamp ever invented in Germany.

I like Streamlights for the simple ruggedness they bring. I have brighter, more complicated lights but my Protac 1L-1AA or Macrostream always seems to be the light that ends up in my pocket. This looks like a nice upgrade to my 1L-1AA. I do wish they would add one more option to the 10 tap, a low-high-strobe. I like having a strobe option but I like having it tucked away to where I never have to see it unless I intend to. For that reason my Protac stays in the low-high option.
