So they’re cut like that to keep from putting in a full auto disconnecter?
I got one of the Hoffman tactical style super safeties when people started making them out of metal. I wanted one of the rare breed triggers but hated it didn’t have a semi mode, plus the price was insane. The super safety was 50 bucks and i had to modify my trigger a bit but having semi mode makes it a lot more fun/practical IMO. Definitely cool people are coming out with different ways to achieve the same thing because the rare breed dude is trying to sue anyone that makes anything even somewhat similar.
Why not reduce the tail thickness on the last 1/4 inch of the trigger kicker allowing you to keep your original parts. Its probably only a few thousands of material to be removed every from both sides.

Very Cool 😀😀😊
Why can't you just grind away a bit of the trigger kicker base?
So… Always buy a Schmid trigger.

Did this binding occur when you had it assembled or did you notice it ?
Yet again, Colt incorporates an entirely unnecessary machining step whose only purpose was to block the use of legal (pre-May 86 refistered) DIAS.
