Agreed. My 2a path has been similar to yours from the beginning. Eotech for nods or planned engagements. Aimpoint for home defense. ACOG general outdoor use. Lvpo/ mpvo for precision. Well said

i love my eotechs. yah the battery life sucks, but i hold 7 years of battery life in my buttstock. i cant get away from the fact that the eotech dot remains a 1 moa behind a magnifier, making 400 yard shots easy at black rifle matches. love my vortex huey aswell

I’ll buy 2 or 3 Holosun Dots before I spend $1000 on a T2. I have a EXPS3-0 and I haven’t had a issue with battery life, I have 2 spares in my B5 grip and have yet to swap it yet since I got it almost a year ago, but I turn it off when I’m done using it if I don’t forget 😂 I’m very impressed with my AEMS pro gold dots

Aimpoint battery life is constant on. Sig, holosun, etc battery life does some math with shake awake etc. if you’re worried about battery life for a SHTF rifle do an etched reticle

People still care about EOTech and AimPoint? If you want to simplify then just buy Holosun or Vortex and be done. I never understood the EOTech AimPoint Hype when you have awesome options by other companies out there especially with different reticle shapes sizes and colors. You bought a $700 Red Dot. Cool! 👍

You lose some credibility when you tried to act like there's a difference or a big difference between some kind of holoSun mount and the unity mount. They're both going to work and they're both going to do what they need to do.

I'm sure it sounds good right now buddy. You'll miss the EXPS at some point in the future. Really, having to turn on an Eotech is its only downside. You can buy rechargeable 123's, and life isn't that bad.

I ditched eotech due to the thermal drift BS that I had problems with. I'm only using Sig Romeo 4T Pros now.

Everyone do you and let everyone else do them shit EOTECH I have used for years it was what was given to us. Then Aimpoint all I can say is I did not like it AT ALL.

I run and will continue to run EOtech because I have a severe astigmatism and traditional red dots suck to use, also the price on T2s is braindead and isn’t justifiable
