  1. The Magpul is too thick and polymer. The CMMG is OK, I actually have both and wouldn't buy either again. The Strike Industries Switch is my go to but there are a ton of great safetys out there. It's gotta be aluminum though IMO.

  2. Only have tried the traditional mil spec safetys but i did upgrade to the magpul and i really like it. It is easy to manipulate but it has a tactile click. Feels super safe for me. I dont see a reason to go with another one going forward

  3. I took the bear creek safety and cut an filed the off side to basically make it a single side trad safety because I’ve noticed the ambi safes catch my glove and prevent fire in tense situations
