I still like the comp mag, yes it’s kind of a pain to bottom load at the range, but it allows you to have a completely unmodified AR 15 and you can take it out at any time with the push of a pin and have a completely unmodified AR that’s ready to rock ‘n’ roll at any time while still being state compliant.
I chose that set up after my buddy experienced several jams in a row and wasn’t able to easily crack open his AR to clear the malfunctions and it became an absolute nightmare with these pins that don’t let you open the receiver all the way
