Honestly i would just carry a 9mm plinker. 90% of all you will need to shoot will be stopped by a pup. I know KelTec is lower quality but the Sub2000 is compact and quickly in the fight.

My personal truck gun has become a 14.5 pin and weld from munition works called the fixie. To keep it light and rugged i’ve only got a streamlight, sling, and daniel defense rear iron sight with a 20 rnd mag. Only battery is the rechargeable streamlight. Don’t have to worry about banging it arond a truck or atv
