On Thursday, March 26th, the Senate State and Local Government Committee will hold a hearing on SF 2320, expanding “gun-free” zones. Please contact members of the committee and urge them to OPPOSE SF 2320 by using the TAKE ACTION button below.

SF 2320 allows local government units to ban carrying firearms in buildings they own or lease.

Additionally, all three gun control bills heard in committee on Tuesday, March 23rd, failed along party lines.

HF 3407 would have ended the centuries-old practice of individuals building lawful firearms for personal use without government interference, and HF 4359 re-enacts a previous ban on binary triggers. Both bills failed in the House Public Safety Finance and Policy.

HF 4362 would have prohibited visitors from carrying concealed weapons on college campuses, and failed in the Higher Education Finance and Policy committee.

Please stay tuned to the NRA-ILA website and your inbox for updates.
