  1. Cameron… when are you going to do something about the trash you sold me. Bill should have never let you run his company into the ground like you have. You censor comments and do not stand behind the products you sell. You misrepresent and mislead in the listings and take ppls hard earned money then offer nothing to fix the problem. Bill shoild have never let a coffee machine salesman like you into his family.

  2. BFD!!
    They have modern machine centers.
So do thousands of macine shops all over the country.
Are the machines at Wilson Combat somehow "special"? Are they used in "special" ways? Is the quality control using "special" techniques/methodology?
TELL us why Wilson Combat machining is "special"!!!

  3. I love my 18" 6.8SPCII Recon profile Wilson Combat barrel. The rifle its in(Vltor MUR upper, Seekins SP223 Gen2 lower, JP Enterprise 17.25" MK3 rail, Surefire Warcomp, and a Geissele SD-E flat bow trigger) is my go-to rifle for hunting around here(hogs, deer, and coyotes) which most locations you won't get more than a 275-350yrd shot & most are in the 75-150yrd area. I wanted a WC matching billet set for it that my local PSA shop had on sale for $525ish, unfortunately it was gone when I got there. My barrel has the 4Groove rifling though, and notice on most or all new blueprints on the site for AR-15 & 10 cartridges have now gone to 6 grooves(my barrel's 3-4yrs old tho). I don't get why Wilson Combat did that though as everyone I know(and my own personal experience) says the 5R, 4Groove, and even the few 3R Groove(5R style lands on the 3 lands) shoot better due to less stress on the jacket by mainly less lands digging in. The more lands you have, that aren't 5R style, will supposedly cause higher pressure & the others also tend be more accurate, reliable, and easier to clean than a 6groove with same treatment/coatings, rifiling process, & etc. All my bolt action custom barrels are either 4Groove or 5R, from my 30" Krieger for F-Class to my, to my new 26" 5R barrel coming in 2-3months from X-Caliber in 6.5x47L, and my new Ultramatch Mod2 26" barrel by Rainer Arms and The Barrel Artisans has 4Groove rifling. I was wanting touse their barrel for my home defense build in either a pistol w/11.5" barrel or a rifle with 13.5"-14.7" barrel or possibly 16" w/Surefire SOCOM338 brake in 338Federal with Wilson Combats AR-10 billet set, but was hoping they had or will have a 5R or 4Groove option for it. Is there any possibility of doing that in future since they are made in-house from raw 416R SS bar stock to finished product? Either way I've always loved your products from the T.R.I.M. Rails & newer to your great barrels. I was just curious why switched from the 4 groove to 6groove & also was wanting a 4groove like my 6.8SPCII has.
Either way keep up the good work and if can't comment on this subject at this time, I understand completely.

  4. Just recieved my first Wilson Combat AR- 10 barrel …the outside nice machining and finish….the rifling VERY disappointed… heavy reamer marks all the way down the barrel…the worst I'd ever seen…doesn't appear to have been honed…waiting a response from Wilson Combat…

  5. I have been shooting the AR platform since 4 June 1975 , in the last ten years I have assembled 10 AR platforms for my own use. The last 3 rifles I have used Wilson Combat barrels, in my opinion derived from my testing there is no better barrel sold commercially. All three consistently shoot sub m.o.a. groups at 100 yards. The latest barrel I tested is the 16" lightweight, caliber 7.62 x 40 W.T. This rifle has a Primary Arms 1 x 6 scope. My first trip to the rang I got on paper at 50 yards then moved to 100 yards to shoot groups for testing.I fired 5 groups 5 shots each. The largest group was .97" the smallest was .59" overall group average for five groups was .755" I was shooting from a front and rear sandbag rest and using breathing control and I'm pretty meticulous about my handloads . In my shooting career finding a single barrel that would shoot this accurate used to be a rarity, all three of my Wilson Combat barrels shoot these same size groups . I am in the process of selling several of my Non-Wilson High End Name Brand Guns to buy Wilson Barrels for the rest of my AR rifles. After all they will all be going to my Grandchildren to enjoy. Hat's off to Wilson Combat !

  6. As most videos from W.C. ok but a little to fast, not enough explination such as the hydrolic jack scene. Just because some people understand not all do. Your people might, I might, but not everybody and those that watched this video with me at the Dr. office the other day asked a lot of questions about the Jack and the sprayer, not to mention others. Slow down put a little more detail to the actions and explain it better. Probly would not add more than a minute or two. And respond to your commenters would be a big plus.
