Hs 512c =less then $400 for 50,000 hours of battery life, solar failsafe, multi reticle, shake to wake. Eotech= $700-$1,000 for 1,000-2,500 hours of battery life, no solar failsafe, no multi reticle, no shake to wake and now there trying to charge over $1,000 for shake to wake and multi reticle 🤦🏻♂️
EXPS3 was the best thing you could get for the price when they were in the $700-$750 range but for $1K you might as well get a Aimpoint. Eotech up charging 25-30% for a new optic with five or ten year old tech is crazy. Civilians will still buy them by the hundreds of thousands but it won't be me.
"even more badass sprinkled into the recipe." –eotech Eotech really jumping into the cringe Olympics heavy with this shit. Can companies not just do what we did the the ar and keep the good features but improve on it? How about, all metal construction, no extra hood, added shake awake, everything else the same, say it's more durable or the same, and no change in msrp. literally all they had to do to make a banger. They took away one of the best features, now no more pressing a button when going from white light to nv, now you gotta either memorize and count in your head to your favorite positions, or you gotta stop and stare through your optic and adjust it each time. Both sound worse than a button, because auto brightness is like one of those few techs where it might actually get you killed in the streets.
Used to not have issues with delamination, then people started fussing about thermal drift. L3 swapped the mounting epoxy and film binder to a more rigid formula to account for thermal drift, and then we had delam and popped grates.
I don’t remember exactly how the holographic sights work, but could you have two separate lenses for different reticles? Cause it’s a reticle etched into a lens that it lights up I thought, so maybe they could have the light switch between the two lenses?
People are really only now realizing the bodies haven’t been aluminum this whole time?… Why the hell do you think they wrapped it with an aluminum enclosure?
Ultimately it’s a downgrade…the dial to snag on gear. Less NV settings. Looks like shit in my personal opinion. And oh $1000 msrp, but you clowns will pay I’ll stick with my EXPS3 😂
We are at such a stand still in innovation for the 2A community, these companies just change a couple things that isn’t even what people asked for! I’m just like wtf anymore ……. Next “innovation” coming a .22short that has been necked up to .50BMG for all the performance! 1 and quarter inch twist rate for all the “rotational damage” 😂😂😂
I had an XPS3-0 on layaway for a few months. I've had it now for a month. No regerts. Works awesome anytime of the day or night, and the classic profile is half the reason I justified the cost. Secondary cool is a thing, even when you dont want to be seen.

The optic is heavier, has less brightness/night vision options, exposed adjustment dials and costs 20–30% more. No thanks. I’ll pass all day.
More like Eoslop
Oh my god shut the fuck up you talk too much

I really dislike the way it looks. They should have just kept the same body style.
Stop with your subliminal stereotypical hood talk. Your not funny

I don't hate it?
I wonder if the elev and windage adjustments actually click on this one……they probably don't.

Looks like an EXPS3 and a T2 had a baby, I would get one
same shitty battery, same delam. also. the new windage and elevation looks cheaper, which is crazy. also the music is very boomer drivne it seems.
Richard ❤
This guy is an enormous DICK BAG
They got rid of the protective shroud
Old Eotech was 8hrs up and 4hrs down.
As expensive as it is why is it not titanium? I was underwhelmed by their announcement and that price tag doesn't seem worth it over its predecessor.
Still no lifetime warranty i bet
(((ELBIT))) circumcised my holo

Anyways, EoTech master race. 🤷🏼♂️

At that price you mess well buy a t2. Dont need the shake wake, turn dial, better battery.
I will get this for the rotary. I would prefer the old body with a nob though
My EXPS delammed on my Gen 12 in the middle of a 3 gun match.
Man I always assumed they were metal already. So people have been paying $500+ for shielded polymer this whole time?
Holosun 510C was always aluminum with a titanium shroud for 1/3 the cost.. How was the Eotech polymer before at that cost?

Nobody cares that I'm first
