I hate flashlights that surprise me. The last thing I want is to sneak up on a noise and try and have to aim over a strobe and end up in a disco firefight.
My EDC is a smaller Streamlight Macrostream USB. Small enough but also powerful enough. I have larger lights that a bit brighter, including a Surefire 9P that I modified with a LED, which is my bedside light. Thanks, Roy!
I’m with you on the flashlights, Roy. You literally had me laughing out loud!
Hi Roy, my name is Les and I’m flashlight a holic too.
Roy, Woolworth. There you go. That was back in the day during a simpler time. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! I finally found something that you like, before you did! I’m going to enjoy this moment for a long time—- well at least until bed time (about thirty mins)!😊
I love Streamlight. I have a high output dual switch Stinger and that thing really throws out a beam.
I've been a security officer for almost 26 years. And all I need is a USB rechargeable flashlight 🔦 with Zoom and Hi and loe settings.
Pass me that Ray-O-Vac when you're through with it Roy! 😁
Nice! I love the single button function and the usb charging, too. 🔦 👍👍
Roy, when do we get to see a review on the Bug-A-Salt gun? 😃
You hold it like you've used one lol. Did any arrestees make it to the jail with a round circle imprint on the forehead? Very useful tool. 🔦
Can never have enough flashlights Roy, I’m with you on that.
I like mag light myself.
Does Suzi ask "Another one?" every time like my wife does??
How would you mount a light on one of your cut down 94s without affecting accuracy
I remember when the Mag-lights first came out. How about that, a light you could persuade someone with and it would still shine.
"Lumens" is an advertisement value that is easily and commonly used as the end-all be-all of flashlights.
The actual number people should be paying attention to is "candela" which implies the ability to throw and reflect light at distance, which enables actual vision. Lumens just speaks to the total light quantity produced but doesn't speak to how that light is utilized or how dense/intense the photons are which aid vision.
It’s so funny how gun people like guns, flashlights, knives and watches. It is called EDC now.
Streamlight is top notch. The same TLR-1 on my Glock 17 then 22 when we switched to 40 cal for 20+ years and still works like brand new. Can’t say that about some other brands that are all the hype these days.
