Water does super heat and expand with enough power to warp steel. What I would like to see (and am surprised I haven't) is adapting PC cooling tech to firearms. A small pump and reservoir, a battery and a radiator under the furniture. It would be way lighter and more efficient.
Nicely done but I'm not a big fan of playing dress up with firearms. About as wild as I go is a two tone olive drab.

Do you need special equipment to fill up the ar 15 water jacket or will any water container and a funnel work?
I would love to have gone to Shot Show but I won’t even be near Vegas until May-ish.
Add about 8 to 12 pounds to the upper with the water jacket, as water weighs 8.34 pounds per gallon, and that looks like it might hold a gallon or a little over a gallon.
So…the AR-15 FRT's just got spicier.
