  1. This is a great video bc this represents th true attitude of the gun community. The Radical AR was a great starting platform for me and taught me how to build. I'm on my third build now.

  2. The first ar I got a few months back is a s&w m&p15. I love it.. purchased magpull irons along with ordering a cyelee T10 green dot. An Amazon sling. Magpull front grip, a bad lever and a breek arms war hammer charging handle 😂…. Rifle around $799. All add ons about $350-$400…

  3. What you didn't mention was a $400 rifle might not run reliably out of the box. I've got the $400 PSA and $900 PSA and both benefited from a Tubb's flat-wire buffer spring. The cheaper rifle absolutely had to have it whereas the pricier one didn't. And yes I checked the feed ramps, tried different buffer weights, and bought quality mags.

  4. 43 YO here who just put a Radical on layaway. It'll be my first AR and I have almost zero shoot time. BRAND spanking new to the scene and an just trying to better prepare for an uncertain future. Love the video. Thanks.

  5. A gucci build for me was putting grid defense uppers on some Anderson lowers good furniture and even better optics and now i focus on ammo and a couple dudes with DD rifles at our local range kept asking me questions about my builds cause they ran my 300 blk running subs and no can and switching to a mag of supers on mistake made them really want to know my parts list😂 I was like I dunno man it crap I got on sale!

  6. You could also go ahead and pick up 40 round magazine 60 round magazine 100 round magazine drums on specific sites and get them for panties don't forget you could also get your GI government mags at any and almost every military surplus store and they normally go for like 8 to 12 bucks

  7. ah yes. short on money so you get a cheap rifle. lets buy a rifle and then buy all the stuff you already paid money on. I get it, not everyone can spend even 1k on a rifle, but you can build something that you can pull the trigger and it goes bang pretty cheap. Not something I would recommend, but if you are buying something then it should be what you want. Dont buy two stocks, two handguards so on and so on. Also you can get something cheap and train while you save money until you can get something that you wont shoot the barrel out of.
In short. dont buy a rifle and then replace everything. Run that gun into the ground and save your money until you can get a better rifle.
