thanks for the review. this was on my list next for my AR build. not sure if I'm gonna go with DD though.
Dry film lube is on the inside of the tube. My references are to the exterior color of the tubes, with the Spikes being more or less gray and not matching the upper/lower receiver (and stock). Its a nit-picky issue I know and has no bearing on functionality.
The grey "finish" is a dry lube.
