  1. My Daniel Defense had a messed up ejector i pulled the charging handle to clear the rifle once and the cartridge was still in place and I had a accidental discharge. Because I was just going through the motions without understanding the process. I would like to add that you should not get comfortable with just pulling back the charging handle. you need to physically look in the chamber to make sure a round is not present.

  2. Why are the best gun channels that realy go into detail on how guns work get demonetized or their vid gets taken down but this guys vid on a AR…….. nothing. Almost like their trying to show kids how to load the most common gun in America.

  3. Always inspect the chamber, too. Just racking a slide / bolt does not mean it's safe. I had an extractor malfunction and the round just sat in the chamber. Never assume, always check. If not checked, it is loaded, always.

  4. When I used to work behind the counter a lady brought in a Walther PPK without a round in the chamber but with a loaded mag. I racked it twice because of muscle memory but didn’t remove the mag. Because I was checking it I guess I didn’t rack it far enough back so I made a double feed. This was a pain as ppks don’t have slide locks so I had to with one hand hold the slide to the rear and with the other depress the mag release and yank the mag out. The only way I could do it was holding the gun upside down. When I finally removed the mag the slide went forward on one of the rounds so I double racked it again (this time without the mag) and both times a round fell out. My only guess is that since I was holding the gun at a weird angle the second double feed round got ripped from the mag and was sitting in the mag well ready to be fed. Honestly the most scared a firearm has made me feel.
