I really like my Remington 1100 the first gun I ever bought when I turned 18 I've never had a failure.

What a waste of money ,why don't you take that money and buy something useful or buy gifts for your family,
$1k no sights and needs to be drilled and tapped for a scope base. Why bother?

You can make a 30 remington out of a 30-30 winchester case.
You’re actually wrong about the tikka. It comes with a dove rail. You might not have optics that would mount to the dove rail, but it is an optics mount. I highly recommend the spuhr sako TRG/ tikka t3 hunting mount.
I wish firearms would be so easily accessible and cheap in Europe as well…
I have one remington model 8 chambered in 30 rem. And two 81's one in 35rem and 300 savage. Love those rifles. Also have like 300 rounds of 30rem. I buy it up every time i run across it for the brass
If it has a 16 inch barrel why did you put a brace on it.? Well I mean you might not have put it on on there but why does it have a brace if it can have a regular stock
I know where you can get a couple hundred rounds of that 35 Remington

I have a Model 8 in 35 Remington. Very cool gun. My Grandfather bought it in 1926.
If you ever find where you can 30 Remington let me know been looking for a while. Grandfather‘s old rifle.

But 1. Model 8's were NEVER chambered in 30 carbine. It was 30 remington. Rimless 3030 basically…
And the model 8's used to kill Bonnie and clyde were BOTH 35 remington..

The 81 stood a good chance against garand in trials!! 25, 30, and 35 remigton cartridges b4 3006 was a common hunting rifle.. good subject to study for gun peeps
