The optics game has come full circle. From red dots to LPVOs and back again, shooters are re-discovering the classic 3-9x. In this video, our man Iain Harrison from RECOIL puts the EOTECH Vudu 3-9×32 SFP through its paces with a few hundred rounds on steel.
We’ll cover:
Glass clarity and low-light performance
Reticle design and zeroing options
Illumination, turrets, and durability
Real-world use at 300–500 meters
How it compares to an ACOG and LPVOs
Is the Vudu 3-9×32 the ultimate balance between size, clarity, and versatility or just a throwback to your granddad’s deer rifle? Watch now and decide for yourself.

ITS NOT MISSING,,,,,,,,, I JUST CANT AFFORD IT
Little heavy, little expensive for what it is, and the battery life is quite poor with no auto-on/off feature…. but I like the concept. Thanks for the review.
Hey, can you TURN UP the music in your next review please, thanks.
This guy sounds British sometimes, and American all the sudden.
Must have been in the US a long time.
If you are shooting in Arizona, then you use yards not meters. Period.
What brand of rifle are you using for the vid?
I’m not crazy about the mount. Seems like the optic would have too much give at either end.
5:13 is where he finally shows us what we came to see
You need to give it the real test and put it on a G3. If it can handle that recoil winner winner chicken dinner.
I own a vector optic 2-8 and it is good high value low price. Inaddition, it's 8 inches long and weighs as much as a acog.
This needs to be FFP and in Mil.
I looked through one briefly and I did like the eyebox and eye relief greatly. It was very comparable to a ta11 acog.
For this product to be successful it either needs to be as durable as an acog or it needs to have significantly better optical quality over a similar priced 1-10x
I like the idea of a compact 3-9x. Im currently using a 4x ACOG on my AUG. The ACOG works great for coyotes. It is not as great for shooting prairie dogs with the fixed 4x at longer distance.
Nope
holy TRT
It's funny that you mention "Your puppy's hunting rifle." I inherited my grandfather's .22 magnum bolt action, and it has a 3-9 on it! 😂
Too bad it only comes in MOA
Nope. If I'm using an optic with 3x on the low end I'm getting more than 9x on the high end.
