My American Tactical (ATI) Alpha Maxx carbine is chambered in 5.56 NATO and uses a combination of polymer, aluminum and steel components. It is also relatively lightweight, weighing about 5.5 pounds. I also love the FDE (flat dark earth) color.

It's good to see your recovery going so well and back to enjoying what you like 👍 I do not have an AR so that one might be my first. Good show.
Not bad.
Boy you didn't even slow down one bit! Glad you're back!
14:06 Bullet path can be seen. Fast camera or slow bullet?
I'm glad you're back and making videos. I really enjoy your videos.
Glad you are Back!!!
Mixup is back!!!! 💪
Great to be back, hang in there 👍
Welcome back!
Amazing shot by your son to hot that thin, hard to see, blending in with the background chain. It was more impressive than that big easy white plate shot.
In theory, as long as the bolt and breech lock together without any wobble, the gun should work OK. Call me a traditionalist, but I'm not convinced. Welcome back!
Waiting for the father/son restoration project on the old green truck…
Man you are doing way better than my brother in law that had a knee replacement two years ago and he is still limping around and in pain.
Great to see fighting fit again ..❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
I have a stripped ATI lower I bought years ago.
Woohoo Mixup and Sons is back!!!
The inside of the receiver could use a little bit of heat shielding around the end of the gas tube. Makes me nervous that’ll melt if you shoot it too much.
One thing I would caution everyone on regarding the ATI's with polymer receiver sets; Make sure you check the barrel nut torque and the check to be sure the gas block was drilled/pinned straight. A co-worker of mine bought one of these and right out of the box the barrel nut was finger tight and the gas block was drilled and pinned offset from the gas port. Once I replaced the gas block and torqued the barrel nut, it ran like a champ.
Nice to see you back. That rifle, IMHO, would be a great candidate for a torture test.
PSA has them for around $330.00 right now.
Some polymer rifles are not meant to be lubricated. The Extar Ep9 9mm Pistol PCC? I think oil can damage the plastic.
i love the entry level and budget stuff. every hobby needs decent products in these price ranges to get more people involved
