My Favorite AR15

After years of shooting a wide variety of different AR15’s and AR style platforms, I have narrowed it down to just one that I always look forward to spending time at the range with. And no…it’s not the Mk18…

The Mk12. Accurate, Reliable, fun. There’s not much more I can say about the Mk12 and specifically the Daniel Defense Mk12 but I do and turn that into a 2o minute video…so enjoy and comment your favorite AR!

  1. I just finished off my own Mk12 at home and absolutely love it. Tack driver with match grade ammo. I currently run a Tion Dragoon suppressor on it but am looking at a OCL over barrel suppressor for being true to form.

  2. I don't have that long a setup, but Saturday I took out my new Geissele Super Duty Mod 1 13.9 P&W, and my Sons of Liberty Christian Craigshead 13.9 P&W, both with the Huxwrx Flow, and I think those would be very nice for new shooters to shoot as well.

  3. So how much does that really weigh the way you have it set up I’m gonna guess 12 pounds any gun that I built even with a 12 1/2 inch barrel and Ambi lowers start out around 6 1/2 pounds naked

  4. i have the PSR from Griffin for my OTB can..love the OTB, as a retired Marine it just normal to me.. I didnt catch the barrel lenght ???though..what did he say he was running for barrel lenght???.. I like the AR it looks sharp, he did a great job! DD is nice, I built one looks a lot like his, but its a LaRue.. good shooter to, more vids please! Semper Fi fromthe woods of Maine. 0369 ret

  5. Let's ask our senators to include SHORT ACT s1162 during reconciliation. If not that how about changing minimum barrel length from 16 inches and 18.5 inches to 1 inch for sbr and sbs definitions

  6. Add me to the list of people who are shocked you didn’t say your Mk 18! That said, I have a quasi-SPR build myself—bipod, suppressor, higher powered MVO, precision SSA-E trigger, etc.—and no doubt it’s easy to shoot and run to shoot accurately at range.

  7. My favorite Armalite Rifle 15 is the one that I own. The brand name is ATI which is not one that gets any real attention on YouTube, and that is okay with me. After 20 years on active duty, it took me roughly 31 years from date of Retirement to consider getting an Armalite Rifle 15.

  8. 'why cant we vote on one thing' because that would require more effort, one might even describe that as a tough job that requires dedication and self sacrifice for the sake of one's country… far be it for us to ask that of them while they collect a paycheck of our tax dollars.

  9. Love your mk12. I also have a Daniel’s M4A1 14.5 that I love but I think my favorite as of now is my Geissele super duty with the 14.5 URGI upper clone correct on it. Freaking love that rifle. Puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.

  10. So now after watching this video we def need categorized "Clint's favorite gun for *insert category*" videos 🙂 because what's better than just one AR? an AR for every different thing you need, whether its zombies, plinking, cqb, home defense, long range freedom love, etc.
