If you are ever entering a room CQB and otherwise you rifle is never slung. Also, whenever you are walking on patrol your rifle is never slung. The only time you sling your rifle is when you need both hands free. You learned that from a Ranger. 75th Ranger Regiment. Hooah! RLTW
