If only the 510c was a close emitter.. It would be phenomenal. It's a great red dot regardless, but it would be THAT MUCH better if it was a closed emitter style red dot.
Bright and crisp for some people. I have no allergies, no cavities, never broke a bone, 20/20 vision, but being into guns with an astigmatism is a cruel compromise.
I understand picking the 510c because they both have the same shaped reticle, and while I do love the 510c it is NOT comparable to an EOtech. 510c is fine for plinking or someone on a budget or someone’s first rifle. EOtech is bomb proof for serious use case (and some models have 12 night vision settings). EOtech’s true competitor that is a red dot has been and always will be Aimpoint
I just hate having astigmatism. Holographics are a game changer as all the holosuns on my pistols have bad blow out and i need the brightness hella low to make out the dot clearly
Eotech all day. These things are virtually indestructible. Plus if you ever plan on NV it's definitely the way to go. The reticle is super easy to see in NV. Pair it with a flip out magnifier, on a qd mount, I use the vortex version because it's cheaper and just as good, and you are good to go.

Reflex, a true holographic does not appear on a lens.
I mean if you can afford night vision a holographic sight should be manageable
230% premium on eotech – I think holosun will do for now
Preference is about the only difference if you compare 2 of the same quality optic
There's much more that are different between true holographic sights and red dots.
That fuzziness is just a slight astigmatism you probably have
Ugh there is always the guy that is right.

Hey new rule if you can afford an EOTech you can call it whatever the fuck you want
"What's the difference between a holographic sight and red dot?"
About 49,000 hours.
Both of the dots are red tho
Red Dot..thanks again for pointing it out to someone like myself 😅

Had to refund my xps-02 case my astigmatism on the holo sight.
like EO holo.. but man it eats batteries. So I prefer my T1's
