Dear YouTube, this video DOES NOT explain how to assemble a firearm, or modify it, or do anything unsafe. It simply discusses the individual components so please don’t get mad at it.
Everyone else: In this video I briefly discuss each component of an AR-15 and briefly explain their function. I do not show how to assemble OR modify an AR-15. Nor will this video teach you how to assemble an AR-15. You need to have special tools, know torque specs, spring location, etc. which are not explained in this video. Updated eBay Store Link:

Very cool. I never got an overview of the entire deal before. I do have a spring that I'm trying to figure out while taking the mil-spec trigger and safety out. It's 7mm x 2mm. lol. It's not the disconnect spring – it's slightly smaller.
A minute in and I already know what part I lost thanks man
Can we say firing pin and firing pin retaining pin? Teasing us with just the back end showing.
I love to learn about fire arms because you can never learn enough about fire arms!!
Where do I get. Buffer catch? I was trying to clean mine for the fish myself and the thing just bounced right out and I could t find them anymore. Does it still work?
Very helpful video! Stop saying “obviously”. Nothing is obvious to us noobs 🙂
I was wondering if you could help me I have an A.R. 15 to 2 three I had to break it down after a house fire it wasn’t hurt bad but there’s two little Allen setscrews my friend took it apart and can’t figure out where they go and there’s a little spring like the one that goes in the handle any help you could give would be so appreciated. Thank you.
They took your video down, that is such BS ! How can they do something like that ? Did anyone inform them that this stuff is LEGAL in this country. Better get rid of videos of knife sharpening soon
So tempted to give building one a try. May do it before they ban all of it. I live in CT and it is not a friendly place for the firearm community.
