Whats a good place to get spare parts from to have on hand
I grew up in 80s, my pops was a Nam vet/drill Sgt. He bought an AR in 85ish, taught me this stuff.
In 93, I joined the Army. I never let on my pops was a DS nor that I was JROTC in high school.
When I was doing shit in basic, the drills caught in that I was knowledgeable. They murdered me for nit saying anything.
Then, pops came to graduation, senior drill found out pops was a drill, he murdered me while pops watched and they both called me a dick head know it all.
Fun times.

I found myself in this exact situation. It took a minute, but I got the bolt carrier group back together. I could've used this video then. I hadn't discovered your channel at that point.

When your bolt carrier group is fully assembled, you can move your bolt back and fourth. Make sure that your bolt is fully extended out before you put it back into your upper receiver, or you won't be able to assemble your gun.

You learn this in the military. I think that every young man that’s able should consider joining one branch of the military if they’re going to college. The Army didn’t need me and I’ve been so blessed by joining.
More teachers need to break their lessons down Barney style like this one.
