I have both. The Aimpoint is the only one I would put my life on. I run my eotech with back up irons because it's always out of juice.

+/- 1000 hrs vs. 8 years on a single AA….ill take the Aimpoint.

I really like my comp 4, ive heard the Eotech is all but indestructible.

The fact the mark 18 is short and the eotech allows for improper sight picture with minimal shift, when a prism or red dot requires prefect sight picture.

I like both. I have a feeling that passive NV aiming would be easier with the EoTech though.

I did monthly 3 gun competition for 4 years. I went from eotech n aim point to Bushnell trs25. aaaaallll my rifles has them and they only cost me $70 a piece.

Had both eotech and comp m4s. The eotech with more than likely delaminate once or twice before you even change the battery in the comp m4s which is 8 years with an alkaline AA or 9 to 10 with a lithium AA.
