  1. Made in japan the price is justified It's using quality glass. Part of the housing looks cast it's going to be durable. The only thing I would like different is the reticle design smaller and thinner.

  2. I get wanting it to be light but having some mounts for a top mount like a TA02 would be nice. FFP would be nice too. Overall very cool though, nice to see something actually innovative coming to the market. Curious how small they could make a 3-6 to make a flip to side magnifier

  3. That's actually a really interesting design. 3-9 magnification is plenty useful for a lot of use cases and it's a super lightweight design. With a red dot on it to cover close range stuff, this could actually be a pretty ideal optic setup for lots of people. Depending on street price, this is something I really want for my 0-400 yard "light recce" carbine.

  4. I like the idea that a 3-9 should compromise less than say a 1-8 or 1-10 because if you're going to use a red dot for 1x why have it in the scope's magnification range? I have high hopes for this one AND the trend that it could potentially create.

  5. If only it had a more useful/usable reticle than the HC-1… I'd buy multiple… But the thick lines make it way too busy for the use case of this thing. (PID being the main benefit of something like this.)
