  1. No.
Get an intermediate cartridge rifle. v
The list against said PCCs is long and the first in my book is body armour, its almost 2030, it aint 1995 anymore.
Exo-skeletons are next in the list of advancements to firearms. Your going to want a .50cal at that point…as if you dont need one now.

  2. The only way in which they are relevant would be with full auto, as it was intended to be. Bad factory trigger (unless full auto), have to put more money into it to get some modernization, pricey mags, no last round bolt hold open, etc. We can get xferable ones, but they're out of reach for most people. DOWN WITH THE NFA & GCA.

  3. They really are outdated. No bolt hold open on empty mag, atrocious ergonomics, weight, insane price and of course lacking penetration. A SBR in 300blk is the modern replacement.

  4. I don't see much sense in a blowback 9mm PCC, not that they kick hard or anything, but a 5.56 ar is smoother with more power. Unless you need that lower power to prevent over penetration into a neighbor's house. I have a PTR 9 I usually keep out for any bumps in the night that set off my doggy alarms, I would love to have a binary trigger for it.

I had worked for California Dept of Corrections in the late 80s and we trained with HK 94 that we were supposed to get issued for indoor gun positions but never did and the PTR 9 definitely brings back that vibe and it's very controllable.

  5. For civilians yes. For military…no.. the us gov just made a point on overmatch..!! And your asking if a 9mm created and rocked back in the 80/90’s is relevant. Not if your on the front edge of the “blade”

  6. The MP5 is an infinite vibe, but it is no longer relevant. It is too heavy, too big, and too expensive. 9mm ammo is also heavy and lacks the performance of intermediate calibers in both external and terminal ballistics. The MP5 has a bad trigger, a mag release that is out of reach forcing use of the paddle, and that iconic MP5 slap. The vibes are forever, but there are better practical options today.
Also, imho, to keep max vibes, 90s furniture is required. No new rails or mlok.

  7. They are just a vibe, you either go with a flux raider type system if you want a bag/truck gun or like a 5.56 in10.3-10.5 mk 18 type gun for lethality up close, and if you want to be quiet you have 45 or 300blk, they are cool plinking guns though
