  1. So after all that time effort and money invested in creating this video YouTube just….

    Declares…..

    That it's demonetized….

You know, considering there's so many verifiable p#doph!les that are monetized and not even looked into on this site and actual hard working people like myself and my small team get regularly messed with is frankly completely fucked.

So I'm just gonna pin this here. YouTube I hope you see it, and whoever runs it right now, I hope somebody draws a weiner in bologna slices stuck to your car

  2. Dude. You’re out here giving Neil Degrasse Tyson level info on not only optics, but the practical applications and details of operations of them. Other dudes are packing reels with sponsor nonsense and baiting people into watching. You’re doing the lord’s work!

  3. Great video, till this day I think it’s still a very misunderstood optic. I’ve used these and ACOGs for years with great results. An exps2 or 3 with a 10.5 or 20inch rifle is perfect. Just don’t use them on direct blow back pcc’s it will kill them.

  4. Chris, if you see this, I work with firearms (industry, not LE/MILL) professionally so I love videos like this when they appear. Thinking about this today after watching flipped a light bulb on. With the characteristics of the reticle (particularly the -4 reticle) under magnification, could you see any use for a variable power magnifier? Something like 3-6x for instance? I've only ever seen one, made by lucid, but my friend who was using it promptly killed it. . . And I predicted he would lol it was made of s#!t

  5. Funny thing about the thermal drift issues they found on older eotech sights. Studies done on ALL military sights (that didn’t have an etched reticle like a scope) had the same if not worse thermal drift. Weird that the others weren’t called out for it tho.

  6. Really appreciating the consistently solid content, and having multiple reviews on products over time and continued use (i.e., BAD Lever, EOTECH, and Aimpoint T2) to keep us updated as your knowledge and experience evolve. Keep up the great work.

  7. I got my first Eotech recently, exps3-0 and out of the box the turrets were squishy. Pretty much no audible click at all. But I can still feel when it makes the adjustment, as well as the visual indication with the dots around the turrets. Is it worth getting ahold of Eotech to have it repaired or replaced? I mean it’s a 1x optic on an 11.5” 5.56. I still zeroed it just fine and it’s not like I’ll ever need to dial for windage/elevation with that setup

  8. I like Eotech’s a lot. I like having the donut reticle as I run NV and like having my optics on risers. Being able to use that circle for holds is really nice. Having an EXPS3 and a G45 magnifier is a great setup.

  9. I agree with everything you said, however I cannot understate how important NOT having to mess with my dot is. Aimpoints staying on all the time is clutch and while I love all the pros of the eotech mentioned, having the dot always on is still more important to me. I know myself, I am a walnut. Give me aimpoint always on and durability all day.

  10. As someone who has used this optic more than a lot… this is absolutely the best and most comprehensive review on the utubes …. I definitely learned some new things … absolutely tremendous

  11. I know your againt chyna optics, but you should try and get your hands on one of the new DRSTH from holosun to experiment with. I only have two nights using it under NODs and its a GAME CHANGER. When used properly in outline mode in conjunction with NODs it turns into a weapon mounted COTI, and the detection range is actually insane. The clarity issues were immediately resolved by putting a quality magnifier behind it. If your looking at EXPS/Aimpoint prices than why not add the cost of a magnifier and get thermal too?
