As a hunter not having a round in the chamber is stipid and a good way to miss a deer keep ur barrel in a safe direction and ur safety on sounds like a boo hoo tbh
Nice job, yet again not actually specifying why you do something. Just do as l say, and be happy with it. It would be good of you to actually explain why shooters move with an open bolt, as a by pass to the safety, and showing an empty chamber. Which on a remington 700 action, the safety locks the bolt in place. And not explaining how when shooting with a semi auto, to throw the safety and call safe before moving. More so on rimfire than centerfire, using 10/22s but the point still stands.
Yeah, wow. So much can happen with a completely empty gun that's pointed down range.
You might have a dead trigger!
WTF is this nonsense? Most of us also shoot semi-autos. Should we eject a round and lock the bolt back on those to move too? Do you think any actual professional shooter is opening the bolt to adjust 2 inches? Lol WTF.
This is not the "correct way" this is the way that fudds will make you do things because they're crazy.
You fired a round. Nothing can happen until you extract it. That empty brass may as well be a chamber flag. In a competition, they are watching you do it. They also know your gun isn't chambered
Whatâs going to âhappenâ with an empty piece of brass in the chamber? And whatâs the issue with sliding 2â to the side with a round chambered? Have you seen 2 or 3 gun competitions? Those guys run around with live rounds chambered all the time and nothing ever âhappensâ smdh
