  1. 1700 fps is still a lot coming out. I mean ya compared to a 9mm, that not even coming out at 1150 fps most of the time due to most 9mm pistol ppl used are under 4.25 to 3in, so to me its whatever floats your boat. Its still get the job done. Ya, i know most 9mm pcc use a 5in barrel or bigger to get them velocity, but again, whatever you're more comfortable with as long you train with it.

  2. For me, the real comparison is between this and a 9mm handgun. I would think of it as like a step up from a handgun into the PDW role than can punch through any soft armor and prioritizing max concealibility over even a 10" AR. It definitely niche, kinda like a MP5k. Additional performance out of a 5.56 over 9mm with the tradeoff of TONS of concussion. Perhaps would be even better with a suppressor that doesn't have barrel length restriction.

  3. Velocity is the one and only factor that makes a 55 gr .223 pill effective. I think people are genuinely ignorant to how much velocity they're losing out of a barrel this tiny.
The standard cope is that even though the velocity has been reduced to pea-shooter level, it's perfectly fine because you're at close range and indoors. So why not use 22 WMR? These ultra tiny 5.56 guns are a recipe for unburnt powder, obscene muzzle flash and deafening noise levels.

  4. Just picked up an aero precision epc-9 with a 5.5 inch barrel and it’s my smallest “pistol” so far. Extremely compact but probably a thousand times less blasty than this thing 😂 great video

  5. I use an adjustable gas block on mine. I built mine using the KAK 4.75" barrel and I have had zero malfunctions. I am using the original Pantheon Arms short buffer tube (Kentri) systems and it all works fine. I turn down the gas until it fails to cycle and then gradually turn it up (I use only green tips) until it cycles reliably. I'm using a Faxon BCG
