Everyone and their uncle should have a @RugerFirearms 10/22 #22LR #Rifle . Whether you’re plinking or hunting small game, this little light and accurate rifle will get the job done.

But you do need to keep it clean, as with any rifle, to get the most out of it.

In this video we talk about how to disassemble, clean and reassemble your carbine or takedown model so that it’s always working at it’s peak performance.

Below are the products that I personally use, and have found a lot of success with. These are not video sponsors, but my own choices that I use with my own firearms. Using these links helps the channel out in a huge way while adding no cost to you πŸ™‚ Thanks in advance for using them! πŸ™‚

  1. The rear pin is the bolt stop. Replacing it with a polymer bolt stop really helps quiet it down as the bolt slams back.

A Tandom Kross auto bolt release is also a must. If you can’t afford the Ruger trigger kit, the Volquarsen hammer will give you a 2.5lbs trigger pull πŸ™‚

I sometimes run a bore snake through my 10/22 after use but, not for a thorough cleaning. l prefer to use a one piece coated guide rod.

A lot of competition shooters will drill a small hole into the rear of the receiver, parallel to the bore. This will allow you to clean from the chamber.

My barrel cost more than the rifle so, l tend to baby it lol.

Dlask in BC sells and makes a lot 10/22 parts

  2. This is a little shorter than initially intended, as I was having power failures on my main A-Roll camera. If you need more help with your 10/22, feel free to ask here, or come by our Discord (linked in the description) and we'll help you out πŸ™‚ Thanks for your understanding πŸ™‚
