  1. Very Nice! I love my Holosun 507K. I greatly prefer it to my Trijicom RMR due to clarity and less flare of the dot with my astigmatism.
    People quickly forget that the 1 of the reasons the government went with the smaller cartridge and smaller rifle was to have an overall lighter weapon system. Once you start adding items to it the rifle such as optics, flashlights, lasers, slings, forward grips, etc. it gains weight quick. Little things like lightweight (but strong) mounts and sites make sense in keeping the carbine at a reasonable weight.

  2. I used an Aim Point on my Colt 6920 at a state rifle school and shot a 5 inch plate at 150 yards standing with barricade support. So yes, I believe a red dot alone can be used for long distance shooting. But 350 yards, woo wee. Prone and with my old issued 6920 maybe. That rifle was the most accurate AR15 I ever fired. It was zeroed in perfect.
