Hey CivilianTactical, or anyone else who can help. I turned twenty years old this march, and will be twenty one next march (in 2025). What would be a good gun to start off with? I don’t have much experience, but I have shot a 9mm, .45 ACP, .556, .22, and a 12 gauge buckshot & birdshot.. BUT I also live in the “amazing” state of California.. TLDR; I turn twenty one next year, live in stinky CA, not much gun experience, and I want to know a good starter gun to have.

Might as well buy a bunch of part kits too. In your scenario; parts, upper receivers, and barrels are also going to be hard to get.
