  1. I need to know how to disable the "EYE SENSOR" so I can use the display while in underwater case.
It switches to the eyepiece as soon as the camera is in the housing.
Most cameras you get three options EYE, Screen, AUTO EYE DETECTOR. apparently I only have EYE or AUTO Detect.

  2. Extra BATTERIES and charger, either USB or 12v, UV filter, Polarizing Filter,
Cold weather Rainproof cover (only front of lens is exposed keeps hands warm too, great for early morning sunrise shots)

  3. Add spare batteries and a wall and car charger, sold on Anazon. When your battery dies, just swap it out and always have one on a charger. But, at home, use the electrical adapter that allows you to use your camera electrically without a battery for unlimited use.

  4. Add an electrical battery adapter, that enables one to operate the camera with electricity in your home, so you can operate the camera for as long as you want with electricity instead of with a battery. I don't have to worry about the camera going dead with the battery.

  5. And add to the list, Lim's dovetail plate, needed to balance the camera on the tripod, made just for the P1000. I looked and looked and finally found one that is made just for the P1000 to help it stay sturdy on the tripod and balance the weight so not all of it is on the single screw on the end. Finally.

  6. The filter size is 77mm and needed from new IMHO. I use a Hoya Pro1 Digital Protector. I don't use UV…The filter is cheaper than a lens if you should be in a situation where it could get scratched…
