In a way, the guy is right. It is using less expensive materials and charging less expensive prices. Glocks are a popular platform that use polymer, this will be interesting to see how a polymer upper performs in the future. Even if the upper doesn't have the longest of lifespans, it might be something for younger or newer people starting out and being introduced in to the semiautomatic rifle platform without breaking the bank.
You know what, I kinda want one now. He is trying to make a reasonably priced
no frillsproduct that everyone can get their hands on that’s not heavy or over engineered that people can just pick up and shoot. He’s not shoveling shit and calling it cake mix. This guy is the son of the man Scotty gives transparent aluminum to in A Voyage Home. Same voice, "grew up with polymers", clear ref to warp technology. You can't convince me otherwise.
Is there a steel trunnion in the plastic upper for mounting the barrel?
yes its lighter, but is that really better. i mean, how light does a rifle need to be? idk i'd rather have a 7lb rifle that i fully trust over a 5lb rifle that im not so sure about.
Warp. How could no one think of the pun? Make it take different calibers via barrel/mag swap and call it Polyamorous-15
yeah its gonna warp. All glocks warp and get pig nose too
Want.
Kaiser US has offered a plastic AR for a while.
For people giving Josh a hard time: His approach is exactly what interests me. If you want a salesman go to a car dealership and they'll give you all the lip service you could ever ask for. People said similar stuff about Glock. Gaston literally laughed all the way to his grave.
The year 2034: This week on Forgotten Weapons, we have an interesting take of the WWSD concept…
PSA has kinda won Shot Show. This company has won the best up and coming products. 'If you don't like it, go buy someone else's shit'. I want to see a solid review of this. I 3dp guns and I truly appreciate commercial injection molded uppers. They're pushing the envelope.
an interesting name 😅
Thankfully a different intro. The other is meh.
We need more Hop and less eyebrows.
👏👏👏
looks like a great product, like his attitude as well.
The way the charging handle pops out while shooting is hillarious. This thing looks like ass from start to finish.
For $500 we can get a lot of long term videos on this rifle.
Will it come in fde
Anyone see the charging handle reciprocate?
Something definitely new. Will wait for the James Reeves endurance/torture video to get one. I like the idea.
This man has balls of 7075 t6 aluminum and recievers of plastic!
Respect the confidence.
BRAVO sirs! 🔥🔥
I love this guy for his honesty and actually trying to innovate
"Warp" may be the correct name for this
2:28 Not what any customers want to hear. Avoiding this junk.
James Reeves is a douchebag
Maybe it’s because it’s still in the prototype phase but that charging handle popping out under fire is a bit unnerving.
