This is the PSA forged Sabre version with the Geiselle rail, Jmac Keymo Mount, CHF FN barrel, hyperfire trigger and Radian controls and could be the best budget option right now. The question is can it be any good? PSA has come a long way with tis forged sabre line. The Sabre line features forged upper and lower receivers better overall options than traditional offerings form PSA.

Well besides a little loctite issues I am pretty happy with this PSA . Have you tried psa before?
Great video and very informative.
"the real issue is that it's a QC thing" – PSA's corporate motto
Great job camera guy.
Very nice. Yea, ALL manufacturers slip up on the assembly line every now and then. I've learned over the year now being into firearms and watching you all here. 1: check over your new firearm when you get it home. 2nd: I've learned this one from you after your shadow systems pistol review several months ago. Feild strip and clean and lube your firearm and dry fire it. I've been doing that, everyone of my firearms that I've purchased. No issues. Other than ammo issues
Is there a link to this exact model please?
Sidenote, why’d you choose a Nissan truck over an american one ?
I immediately noticed you got a video guy. Nice man. I own a production company and do video work.
When you literally only keep the frame and totally rebuild your rifle 😂😂 your rail cost as much as your rifle
This sum bs
Good shit! Camera man is GTG also! Not sure if he edits the vids as well, but I enjoyed the editing as well as the funny clips.
Dear camera guy- you’re cute. Let’s meet for coffee
Your videos are always fire Mike! Respect 🔥👍
Honestly I love what PSA tries to do but to see they still have QC issues on their premium line still kinda bugs me, and at that price point of 1k or slightly north of it you have options like BCM and LWRC that I'd take over PSA any day of the week personally. Love the content as always man and happy new year 🤙
Dang. It would have taken a lil dab of loctite from factory… I love my sabre luckily nothing has come loose on it. Good video.
Did you ever find out what was wrong with the DDM4A1 ?
Affordable price and nice rifle
Whenever you get the chance if you can check out the lone wolf dusk19 and get a review on that. Happy new year boss and thank you for your hard work in giving us these videos and can't wait to see what you do in 2024! God bless!
Sabre or Jakl?
I didn't see that they were using geissele rails I thought they were using a triarc style one based on their website pics
Hi camera guy 😂😂
Looking forward to the 1000 rounds review 👍
For $1250 you could have.. Criterion/Geissele barrel, Midwest Industries “Nightfighter” handguard, Blackout defense trigger, Aero BCG, Radian SD charging handle, PSA lower, Magpul CTR lower parts kit buffer & stock… JUST LEARN HOW TO BUILD! The world is your oyster.
Awesome review thank you 🤘🇺🇲
Solid, dependable information, sir.
Thank you!
I really enjoy your reviews, honest and complete!
That's the upper I bought from PSA. I always loctite the handguard bolts every time I get any upper. I LOVE MINE!
I had issues with PSA not tightening things. At the time, they were their more premium options. They really need to tighten up QC, particularly on what they claim to be duty grade.
Like I've said on many PSA Sabre reviews, this is the best bang for the buck you can get for an AR 15 platform. I own 2 now and I did run into the same issue you did with one of my rails. I normally always sure up the parts that should have Loctite or torque specs. I also dimple all my gas blocks. Great vid as always Mike!
Have a few PSAs over the yrs…. As with everything I get ,I double check everything on a new rifle
Really a great set of features! I tend to treat PSA assemblies like build rifles – Check and loctite anything that needs it (especially hand guard and gas block.) All of mine have been flawless.
Meh loose screws happen, even my Radian rifle would back out every once in while after rough training. Like you said, loctite works, but shocking the rifle a few times they'd still require a little love.
Always got to check that stuff, sadly. New employees or someone having an off day can make for a bad situation. Doesn't matter if your KAC, LMT, DD or PSA, it can sadly happen to anyone!!
The pornhub drum lol 😂 most underrated Gun YouTuber on the planet
You produce great content. I've been following gun channels for years and years but somehow only found yours about 6 months ago. Very impressed overall. You go over all the details and don't BS us with false reviews for money by giving unicorn and rainbow reviews of products to get paid by companies.
They use good materials just always had to check over screws etc for proper torque and loctite issues
QC and the BCG deal is why I decided against buying PSA's higher priced uppers in favor of BCM.
Am I the only one that thinks that PSA uses trained monkeys to assemble their firearms? Everyone I know has had some sort of quality control issue with their stuff.
No matter what name is on the receiver or on the rail, I always loctite every screw myself. (I mean, I'm the one building my rifles, but if I did buy a rifle…)
I wish PSA went back to having the barrel length filter on their website.
PSA is doing a great job of providing weapons to people that aren’t ballers. That being said, I would think that using locktite on those fasteners is an industry standard? I’ve seen reviews on high-end weapons that have the same issue. Wack.
"The best budget option" – slaps a Geissle upper on it.
F yeah thank you for being transparent. Could you check play between uppers and lowers in the future? Got my LWRCI A5 (has a wedge) and there is slop/wobble between, not sure if it matters but at 3k it's bothering me a bit. I know you have a lot of experience. Thank you!
Oh boy, there’s gonna be a lot of “ tier snobs” there are gonna be upset that a PSA runs like that. I mean of course they’re gonna attack the handed loosening up. I think that’s bullshit as well, but you can’t deny PSA is stepping up their game. Once they get their QC squared away, they’re gonna be a force in the industry. This rifle checks off everything on a build list. They just need to get the quality control together.
Muchísimas gracias Camera guy, you did great. Very excited about this rifle.
Like the new thumbnail style and the camera quality looked great in this video
Does $1300 still fit in the "budget" category?
Where is the red line for budget vs. mid-grade, then mid-grade vs. premium?
Happy New Year.
Did I miss the price? All I heard was "price point".
Belated Merry Christmas to you and yours. Nice presentation, but for the price point I would go with a Saint… but thats me. I did a few budget PSA builds/assemblies("assembly" is for the correction Karens/police) and you can't beat it for the price… Glad you like it. Nowadays i dont think there is a manufacturer that once in a blue moon one piece slips out that needs a tadd of TLC from the purchaser. Stay safe and best New Year wishes.
