Arken Optics: (use code “texasplinking” at checkout for the biggest discount currently being offered) The brand new Arken Optics EP5 5-25X56 punches way above its weight. Great zoom range, informative reticle, FFP, 34mm main tube, lifetime warranty, etc. etc. Plus with the ‘Shooting Combo’ which includes a scope mount/ring combo, flip up caps, etc. it gets you squared away. You just need your own rifle. For this video I used my Springfield Armory M1A Scout Squad in the Sage EBR Chassis.

  2. Thank you for putting out videos like this. As someone who is just getting into long range shooting and doesn't have a mentor to show me the ropes, I really appreciate your advice and reviews. I have a Bergara B-14 HMR wilderness in 6.5 creedmoore as my first long range rifle. I am in the process of choosing the optics and accessories at the moment. Your videos are great!!!

  3. This is a really good video, thanks for explaining everything so easily. If you don't mind answering how much is that rifle with all the assecories that you have on it in the video please? What make and model and caliber rifle is that as well?

  4. I realize this is supposed to be a scope review but I'm more interested in the rifle itself. What kind of accuracy do you get from that setup and do you get much poi shift in a 10 shot string? I'm having some serious issues with wandering zero on an almost identical build. Like a foot at 100 yards on a 10 shot string. Everything is tightened on the rings, mount, and chassis with a torque wrench. Leupold scope was tested on another rifle without issue. It's driving me nuts.

  5. Haven't had a chance to test if it holds zero, but mounts just fine and has nice clear glass. Centered vertically true to a plumb line with the crosshairs which is always a plus! It's a great https://www.youtube.com/post/Ugkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope. There's no parallax adjustment or focus ring, so may be limited to 3-7x, have to see how it is on the range. Also be aware that the rings are "look through" so you can still use irons, but they are really tall if you only intend to use the optics. On a 22LR no biggie since I'm not shooting competitions or worried about a hard cheek press. Will boresight and range test, if all goes well, I'll leave it at that!

  6. Geez… this is the THIRD video extolling Arken…! I may just have to pill the trigger (so to speak) and buy one of these scopes, if for no other reason, to see what all the fuss is about! I do wonder, however, how it will do on top of something in the 30-06 and above calibers…? strokes chin

  7. I just subscribed because of the incredible deal you laid out with this scope! FFP, 34mm tube and scope mount/ring combo, flip up caps and all the other bits and keeping the price at just over $600. INCREDIBLE!!!! I like the way you make your videos.

  8. Thanks for the video. I just purchased a EP5 moa scope and mount for my BCA ar10 308 win. This is exactly what I was looking for. And the price is outstanding for the value. So glad I found you and Arken Optics!
