  1. Because of fluctuating Prime Day stuff, some models are different prices than shown: https://www.amazon.com/shop/torquetestchannel So double check.
We've tested a bunch of different types and brands of lights like this, a list here:

  2. I measured the brightness of my current bike light using an uncalibrated phone. It gets 5 lumens in a narrow 130 Candela spot. By comparison what I would consider comfortable room lighting (3 LED bulbs with integrated diffusive exteriors 2.4 meters away with a whitish cieling and a mixed color room) is about 80 lux according to my phone. 2100 lux omnidirectional should theoretically be about 30 lux at the ground, which suggests that either my phone sensor is actually optimistic or there is a lot of light coming in from the sides or reflected off the cieling.

  3. I have a 800 lumen bedt buy essentials light, pretty bright for a low price. It also is micro usb rechargeable. Bad thing is it gets hot enough to seriously burn someone at the light end. Also its driver circuit flashes at a specific freq that it made one of my fans look like it wasnt spinning

  4. Boruit V10 EDC for your next test would be an awesome addition. $20, 1000 lumen claim, UV light, multi color, multi brightness, long runtime claims. Lots of specs lots of bold claims.

  5. i've EDC'd a Wuben C3 for just over a year now. 1200 lumen and usb-c charging make it quite convenient.
never really heard of them but i've now seen a number of police officers carrying it lately to.
oh yeah its also around 30 bucks.

  6. You should run the lights at their brightest setting to show how long they run until thermal shut-down. I have a couple Srreamlight Macro Srream 500 lumem pocket EDC lights that are great until they've been on for a few minutes, then they just die only to turn on again after a cool-down. Worryingly, if left 'on' they just turn themselves back on again when cool. At only 500 lumens this is mostly an annoyance, but with some high output it lights may be a problem.

  7. The other bulb you might get allot of views testing is the 3157. It's a pretty standard size for many car reverse lights these days. I could recommend some brands for testing also if you'd like. Just reply and I'll get the links together if you'd like.

  8. Have you tested the smaller coast with zoom feature? I bought one at the flea market for $10 missing the battery. But I got two packs of 123a lithium energizer since the rechargeable battery was missing. I have a bunch of 18650 vape batteries I plan on using when those run out. Is that gonna work well?

  9. I’ve owned the same coast flashlight for probably over 2 years. I have like 15 flashlights, but I always reach for the coast. I’m a maintenance guy and it lasts me long enough to do my job for a few days. No complaints at all. Great video, Broskies!
