I really considered getting one with a magnifier combo, but they no longer make a 4x magnifier and mix and matching with other brand magnifiers doesn't seem to work that well. Idk why.
I'm still not sure what to get. If I go for sig sauer's Romeo4H&Juliet4 I get a small window and not the best coating, 4XT pro has the same size but the same coating as the 8T that is insanely heavy, big and of course ugly. The UH-1 is similar while also holographic.
Not that easy to find the right enclosed optic.
Anything here is almost twice the price too.
Every recommendation for an AUG optic besides Acog, Trijicon and Aimpoint (easily crack 2k €…yes € not $, so even more) is appreciated. Dot with some sort of BDC for .223 of a 2'' barrel would be perfect. I'm focused on 4x since a local discipline caps it at 4x.
EDIT: I think after some interview videos of the Eotech guys and some direct comments of them, they might have something new ready next year. There was a hint on independent multi dot zeroing. If you think about getting any Eotech they adviced to get a red over a green one since with lasers the red one lasts potentially longer over the whole life cycle. 3-4 is the full package.

capabilities. I have little interest in NV.
It has been said for decades that you can't have both guns and butter.
The same holds true for Benelli m4s/1301LTTs and Eotechs.

Eotech is still the best 1x sight on market IMHO. I like the 512 though for AA batteries.
XPS 3 is a great optic. I have astigmatism and it still looks good.
Been using this model EO Tech sight with a 5x mag. Really would like to see one of your no B.S. range reviews on this item. I also just bought a Holosun HS507C X2 ACSS Vulcan for my M9A4 from Optics Planet with a Discount and No Problems.

Acog clone wal mart used to sell? Like $275 back then round 2009-10 when I got mine.
EO Techs are awesome. I find them to be a bit more crisp than a standard red dot with my astigmatism.I’ve had one for years.Everyone should buy one
