What is your favorite optic setup? Two of the most popular options these days are the LPVO with offset red dot or an Eotech or red dot with a magnifier. I decided to go out and shoot both setups, back-to-back to see which one I liked better. They both have their pros and cons, but one of them just feels more comfortable and intuitive, to me. Let me know how you set up your optics in the Comments and don’t forget to Subscribe!

Cool video, but you'll never know which is best for you by standing up and shooting from high ready in a desert. Crawl through the thick stuff like bullets are flying over your head. Get muddy, shoot around cover. The more uncomfortable the more you'll learn.
I have a strike eagle FFP, it’s not bad, little heavy . Personally would rather just run an eotech
Luv your new new, what barrel did you choose?
In my experience, red dots can shoot put further than you think, especially paired with a magnifier and not shooting at paster sized targets or zeroing. Red dots you also use a battle zero to make them effective out further.
Lpvo, the better they are the better they are. If you buy a second focal plane 1-6, you'll probably want a red dot for 1x because you're less likely to flip back and forth. You can do it it's just not as enjoyable/usable. Also glass quality makes a big difference.
It all boils down to what distances you imagine you'll be shooting at or need to view targets til and whether you imagine being stationary or posted up for shooting or moving.
Great video!
I’m using an lpvo with the offset red dot. With the range that the 556 is capable of it doesn’t make sense to not have decent magnification. Mind you I’m using a leupold 1.5-4 (super light weight) but because of the glass quality I’m way more accurate then with my 1-8 strike eagle.
Red dot with the flip up magnifier I use on the pcc
EOTech😎
good stuff bro…
The new AR looks like it's running good.
Strike eagles are nice for the money.
I had my best shooting session recently even though I don’t have the luxury of every week or day range time, with an eotech 512 with no magnification with a 50- 200 yd zero. I love eotech. I’ve shot with a cog, lpvo, red dot, etc. I just love Eotech. My preference from a rando from YouTube land
One is fast, one is a little bit faster lol
I can't justify paying 600- 800 dollars on a eotech! But I payed just under $500 for lpvo and red dot!
I watch another guy. "PEW pew tactical " he did the same test. And the Lpvo is a new brand. He said it was made in Japan. But crystal clear lenses etc..and with his discount it was only $300. I bought one..and yeah I love it. And got a decent red dot for $100 Dollars on sale.
21:16 I just put a Vortex Strike Eagle LVPO on my new Daniel Defense M4 A1. I haven't had the chance to run the gun yet but I like it already.
Lpvo and a red dot!! Is still waaayyyyyy cheaper than an Eotech with a magnifer!! $500 cheaper!!
IMO..red dot within 200yrds and faster follow up. I bought an Lpvo with a magnified red circle. Slower transitions…buy way better at 200yrds plus!
