  1. That gun is absolutely sick. It's so well designed, a perfect hybrid between AR and AK. Unfortunately, it's priced at a place where I don't think they'll sell a ton of them. Ultimately, PSA will probably make a clone that's more accessible, and sell the hell out of them

  2. If you can find 7.62×39, this is a great rifle with a ton of potential. However, I'm concerned about it being a DI gun. Anyone who knows 7.62×39 knows good and well that its a very dirty cartridge, especially the steel cased ammo. I worry that it might gum up a bit faster than a normal AR and you also really have to watch out for corrosive ammo much more so with this than with an AKM. Cool rifle though, lightweight as can be and tons of power from that rooskie 30 caliber cartridge.

  3. I think the XCR still has this beat. I see possible longevity issues with the guide rod retainer/buffer
It's also nice to have adjustable gas for steel/commercial loads/cans

  4. If you're looking for a different take on a DI rifle you should really look at the DRD Tactical Sub 6. They are very light and very simple.

It's a shame they went out of business but if you're a collector and want something different it's worth a look.

  5. could this be my new favorite operating system that I wish ALL of my rifles were made from?!?! my 5.56 and 300aac for sure but… ESPECIALLY my 6.5 grendel with that beefier bolt! Folding stocks are SO MUCH EASIER for storage and transportation and to do those things discreetly

  6. Pretty wary of CMMGs bufferless operating system. Especially considering how solid the original MK47 was and the fact that it had more compatibility with AR15/AR10 parts. Whatever my concerns though, CMMGs ability to adapt that operating system to such a wide range of calibers has been impressive.

  7. The smaller carrier let it works with less gass, less bump and so on. My only concern is about coil life because of the heat inside the receiver; it is lower than regular AR but the coils are inside of it. So, for extensive use the coils can suffer a bit with heating problems.
