With the number of people on the terrorist watch list who have been caught at the border, you have to ask how many have come through without being caught. We may not have to fight another nation, but we could, and probably will, have to face terrorist attacks at some point.

Soft targets, this is why they were so brazen in their approach. They KNOW this and they knew the response times, they had been studying all this since at least 2022. It would be naïve to think they are not doing that here. Hezbollah has been calling on world wide terror attacks and this is worrying because they operate in cells that have limited or no interconnectivity only mutual agenda.

It's easy to say that we probably won't have an Israeli style invasion here in the US. But, actually, we are already being invaded by thousands of people every day who illegally cross the border into the US. The majority of them slip in and are not reviewed in any way by the border patrol. The odds are that hundreds or likely thousands of actual terrorists have already come into the US this way. They could rise-up at any time and kill tens of thousands of Americans all around the country.

My opinion has been, for some time, that a person can never have enough ammunition.

Our Founding Fathers were prescient and prudent to establish the Bill of Rights, and the 2nd amendment being a right that enables us to defend our liberties from external threats as well as internal infringement. We were blessed to have them in the right place at the right time blending courage and wisdom.
