Is The Bushmaster ACR Is Still Cool In 2023?

It only took an entire year but I finally got the approval to take my registered SBR Bushmaster ACR home so I figured I’d male a video on it. I’ve always liked the ACR and now that Bushmaster says they’re bringing it back sometime in 2022, I thought I’d talk about what I hope to see in the new one. (If & when it gets launched) What do y’all think about the ACR? Big thanks to Silencer Shop for sponsoring this video. I went through them not only for the suppressor showcased, but that actual ACR itself because they handle all things of this regulation. Big thanks to them!

  1. It only took an entire year but I finally got the approval to take my registered SBR Bushmaster ACR home so I figured I'd male a video on it. I've always liked the ACR and now that Bushmaster says they're bringing it back sometime in 2022, I thought I'd talk about what I hope to see in the new one. (If & when it gets launched) What do y'all think about the ACR? Big thanks to Silencer Shop for sponsoring this video. 2. I've been in love with the Masada since 2011 and fortunately was able to pick up an enhanced ACR in 2015 for a fantastic price. May I recommend a Geisselle trigger for your ACR pick up, I think they are quite nice. Nice rifle, stay safe!

  3. Excellent review and awesome ACR goodness. I have a coyote Wyndham Factory never fired ACR. I'm impressed by the Wilson Combat Custom AR's Hunter, Urban Super Sniper, etc,. In all the different calibers. Match grade barrel and trigger. True quality PORSCHE. Beautiful design.

  4. I definitely want to buy one of these rifles. Do you know what other calibers it can be converted into as of late 2022? There is mention of 5.56 of course, and 6.8 Rem SPC. Are they available to be converted into 7.62 x 39 or any other calibers yet? Thanks for the video, great rifle.

  5. If they come back, they won't be under 2 grand. Look at the scar and mcx chrre t pricing. The acr really only needs a few things. Lighter! They are very heavy in stock form. More calibers like you mentioned. Ability to change grip would be nice.

  6. If they do bring this back I'd hope that they make it a multi caliber platform again. I don't have any SBRs so will changing a caliber mean another TAX stamp? Cause I'd love to have the 5.56/.300 and any other caliber that fits the platform!

  7. Remington Arms company along with quite a few others such as Bushmaster are all part of the Freedom Group, which is owned by Cerberus Capital Management. Since the two companies were bought and are now owned and managed by the same corporation, they have started working together, unbeknownst to most of the people in the gun world.

  8. The "multi-caliber" fad died before it even began. No multi-caliber rifle has survived introduction to the market. Not the ACR, not the Sig 556XI, the Sig MCX, nor any of those fancy quick barrel change AR15s. The fact of the matter is, multi-caliber is not practical. The caliber changes everything about the gun, recoil, gas pressure, weight, balance, point of impact, even the magazine most of the time. It was always a pipe dream. None of the guns that were designed on that fad succeeded. Even the MCX survives now as a single caliber gun. You buy it in the caliber it comes in and that's the way it stays, and even those have a whopping 2 options, 556 and 300 Black Out. The ACR's main promise was something it could never live up to. It was a fine gun, but it was marketed as something it couldn't be. No gun can. If you want another caliber, buy another gun.

  9. I freaking love my ACR!! I own a SCAR 16S, CZ Bren 1 & 2, and some high quality AR’s, but if SHTF tomorrow I would have my ACR in my hands protecting my family and myself.

  10. What I would like to see is a price more in line with what it was SUPPOSED to be from the very beginning. Otherwise, I'll probably stick with getting the Hellion once prices settle.
Edit: There actually is a company that is developing a .308 ACR, although the name escapes me.
