Bought this same set up, except for the scope. Trying to decide between a Trijicon Credo 1-6 with the BDC for .308, or Primary Arms SLx 1-8 with the ACSS for .308. Any input would be much appreciated. Good to see a fellow Okie, great review!!
GOOD REVIEW But I prefer the 20" -24" barrels in the .308 AR-10 the 16" to much velocity is wasted in a fireball outside the muzzle. The AR 10 with 20" -24" barrel is affective at 1000 meters on 36" high 18" wide targets. Zeroed at 200 meters its very affective.
do (your) top 5 or 10 AR10's that are on the market, even can go further under 1000 paperbacks then 1500 then 2000 paperbacks

I understand the use of something to soften the buttstock but if you are used to any military firearms, they are either steel plate or some hardened polymer. With it being lighter in weight is the recoil still similar to an M14 or M1A. I really liked your review of the PSA Gen3 and it’s adjustable gas block. Thank you also for testing out the iron sights and talking about the adjustments.
Always a succcinct review. Of course, the paper and steel or knock-down targets speak for themselves. It doesn't just look pretty, it works well.
