FoldAR Review
I’ve got this borderline obsession with finding the slickest ways to carry a rifle in a bag. I mean, who wouldn’t want to be tactical and discreet at the same damn time?
Over the years, I’ve seen all sorts of contraptions claiming to fold ARs into compact packages. Some were legit, and others… well, let’s just say they were a little goofy. But guess what? None of them quite hit the sweet spot for me – they all left the rifle still kinda bulky.
But then, out of the blue, FoldAR reached out to me. They wanted me to give their Folding AR System a go.
Now, I gotta be real with you all. I had mixed feelings about this one. Part of me thought it might just be a gimmick, you know, all show and no go. But the other part of me had this feeling that it just might work.
So, I took the leap, but I lowered my expectations just a tad. And you know what? I walked away pretty darn impressed with what the Fold AR was capable of pulling off.
This bad boy surprised me in all the right ways.

Love that they reasonably priced this firearm as to get it close to obtainable for most people and thus getting it close to the realm of common use. Definitely going to get a .223 Wylde 12.5 upper 🤠
California doesn’t allow rifle barrels less than 16” making this a great option for Californians.

Just got the smith and Wesson FPC and it’s an awesome folding 9mm, beaks down exactly like this and is held in from the mlock and changing handle

My AR is a takedown where I can remove the whole 556 barrel and use my 300blk barrel without having to replace the upper love it
