So you have a pistol and think you are OK…. but are you familiar with the ATF Pistol Brace Rule? Did you know that they will consider the type of scope used with your pistol to factor whether it is a FELONY to possess as a SBR when combined with a brace?

  7. You need to look at a “Taco Hold” for pistols used in pistol silhouette shooting it is a very stabile and accurate hold for target shooting and is done everyday with magnified optics on pistols

  8. A bit off topic here, but say you have what is considered a SBR under the new rules. Do you just get rid of it, turn it in, etc.? Then what happens when the Supreme Court overturns the ruling? Something similar has happened to me in regards to the bump stock I lost during a boat trip. Since I no longer had it, my ar15 was in legal compliance. Now that it's legal to own a bump stock again, can I go back to that fishing spot where I lost it and relocate it?

  14. This is the death of the second amendment by a thousand cuts. It's ridiculous how hell bent these people are to bleed us dry. It's even more ridiculous that we stay on the defensive and allow our own government to break constitutional laws and enforce unconstitutional laws. It's pathetic that the firearms industry hasn't stood with the American people and put their foot down. These state's that want to take away the people's rights to keep and bare arms should no longer receive any firearms or ammunition for their police departments or any state authority. People should either file class action law suits or individual law suits against the state's that continually attack the second amendment. There's got to be a way to go on the offensive and start making this so expensive for the ATF and politicians that they stop trying to remove our rights and restore the one's they have already taken.

  26. This confusion and complicated rules are manifest evidence the ATF is stomping on the 2nd Amendment and should be disenfranchised. Our Tax dollars should never be used to undermine our own rights by empowering such an irresponsible and corrupt institution as ATF, the unconstitutional extremist arm of a tyrannical administration.

    Incidentally, the military member takes an oath to defend this nation against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Strange to me that we have never truly turned our military against a domestic enemy – the politics make sure there is really no such thing because if there were such, damn near half or more of our legislators, judges presidents and bureaucracies would be slaughtered or imprisoned.

  28. The ATF has not said how much area is needed for a firearm to be shouldered. This allows them to decide, arbitrarily, that 1/2 a square inch is enough. If they can do it they will.

If you didn’t catch him mentioning YouTube, he did and these social sights are monitored by the platforms themselves and most will turn you in themselves, but law enforcement and government also watch which is how they know a lot of things that are truly going on. Because you all advertise it all the time for your own personal gain and then justifying it by it’s my right. But what is really happening when you have the type corruption that exists in our country, it’s just ammunition for them to use against us in the end to justify their desires to destroy our rights for their control. Some are paying for it now as you know. We are being monitored one way or another and it’s time everyone truly understand this. Point, if all of you would have treated the pistol AR as a pistol on social media they would have nothing, but instead I don’t think you can find a video where any of you didn’t use it like a rifle if truth be told and now here we are. Right wrong or indifferent, it gave them what they think is needed to try and do something against the 2A. Like it or not and just for the record I don’t agree with it. But this is the world we are living in right now and until these things all get played out in court, this is where we are at. They don’t really care how you use it, it’s the felony charge that they really want, because then they can permanently disarm you. Just stand strong and continue standing up for the 2A because it will win out in the end one way or another, it’s why we have it.

    How someone uses a product on the internet doesn’t change the definition

    A large wrench isn’t a hammer, yet many tools are used as a hammer.

    How many atf agents will be trained using both hands on their pistols.
    Doesn’t make them rifles.

    Weaver stance negates the entire rule.

  44. Iv said that every firearm is designed to be fired with one hand ( shotgun and rifles and pistols) because there's only one trigger ( ie one handed)

  45. This would be why I was saying "Don't tempt fate" when people were asking about putting padding around the buffer tube to use a cheek weld.
    They Are going to be looking for people that are using them As rifles. The ATF fill take anything that is common sense, turn it into a gray area, and try to turn it against us.

    I wanted to write to you because I am deeply troubled and fearful of what I see on the news every night about state and federal leaders trying to "sell" to the American public which is allowing lawmakers to take away our fundamental 2nd amendment rights which "Shall Not Be Infringed". I do not know how President Biden is NOT embarrassed to be campaigning for such governmental overreach with the so-called "assault weapons ban" he is pushing and his constant disrespectful joking about "deer do not wear kevlar" have nothing to do with what is at stake here.

    I am scared because it seems that somewhere along the line, because of what criminals are doing, it became "OK" to publicly be attacking and vilifying our nation's law abiding, tax paying patriots and start legislating insanity with disarming the nation's citizenry. I'm scared because we also now have an unelected ATF leadership that with the stroke of a pen and a "Rule Change" (NOT LAW) just made potentially 40 Million American citizens Felons with this ludacris ban on a "pistol brace" that up until the recent political climate have always been legally sold to millions of Americans and gun owners on both the left and right of the political spectrum.

    There are 3 bills that are in front of Congress for 2023 that I would beg you to work with your colleagues in congress on to pass into law to help stop the unethical and unconstitutional attack on the citizenries' civil rights promised by the constitution and our forefathers! Did you know that there are congressional sheriff's from around the country such as Sheriff Waak of Wisconsin that have vowed to NOT support any new unconstitutional laws being considered by congress such as the Assault Weapons Ban and also this unconstitutional rule change by the ATF https://drydenwire.com/news/wisconsin-sheriff-says-he-will-not-enforce-atfs-final-rule-on-pistol-braces/ who sent a letter to the director of the ATF stating that "the ATF will not be welcome in his county or state if they try to show up and enforce unethical and unconstitutional rules or laws and he will stand in front of the ATF Feds who decide to come to his area to violate the rights of his constituents"! This is serious and the fact that many Sheriff's from around the whole country are publicly making similar vows should tell you something. All of you take an oath of office to support our civil rights against all attacks, including our 2nd amendment, yet somehow it became "OK" to even discuss this madness under the false and dishonest guise of "public safety" because of what criminals are doing. I would remind you and everyone else to keep in mind when proposing new anti gun laws that committing ANY crime with ANY firearm or weapon is already against both federal and state laws nationwide and brings additional felonies criminals already face when the are caught and prosecuted, so why on earth do we need to disarm the American law abiding citizens with all these unethical new laws and legislation and rule changes?     All this new anti 2nd amendment legislation is going to do nothing to combat crime or stop criminals from carrying illegal weapons or ammunition or hurting people, the only thing it will do is make millions and millions of American law abiding, tax paying citizens and voters felons for something that is protected above all else, or supposed to be, by our constitution and promised by our forefathers. Why is it ok to ban weapons such as the AR15 which is the most technologically sound rifle on the market today from citizen ownership when that is the best method I have now to defend my family and my property from criminals who would plan to come into my home uninvited with their illegal AR15's or worse to kill me and my family? It's NOT… Please do not fall for the anti gun lobby's tactics that vilinize Americans and work to defend our rights to do what I need to do to protect my family and my property with the tools I need to do so properly.
