  1. I came very close to buying this very model a couple of months ago. I decided to get the Colt Competition 1911 instead because of price, and because I’d always wanted a Colt 1911. I recently had the blued Colt done in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote to make it look like, you guessed it, the scorpion. Perhaps with the cost of extra mags and the Cerakote, I should’ve gone with the Scorpion. Lol

  2. Great video, thanks for posting. The Sig web site shows it as shipping with 2 mags. Hopefully the site is out of date and they are shipping with 3 like yours. I am very close to taking the plunge.

  3. My cousin has this exact Sig 1911. I fired it a few times and it's extremely accurate. But I don't see the point, I shot the exact same spread with my $800 less gen3 G21, it holds more rounds, is proven more reliable after over 40K rounds with no issues, parts if needing replacing is far easier and way less expensive, and it's ergos for my big hands is more comfortable. The 1911 feels like a P365XL or G48, I want something like an H&K 45 usp, and the G21 is pretty close. And yes, my G21 has those ugly white plastic sights and it doesn't seem to affect my accuracy in any way. The only thing the Sig 1911 has going is it's pretty, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, to me I like the bulky robust industrial power tool look of the G21 like an H&K usp.

The Sig Scorpion is …….meh…..not bad, too expensive for what it can do when there's way better 45acp on the market.

  4. Obviously I know both Sig and Springfield Armory produce different models of 1911s with different features. But……which would you go with if you could choose just one? A Sig 1911 or Springfield?
