The Romeo 4XT Pro is probably the best red dot on the market

The new Romeo 4 XT Pro is SIG’s top-tier red dot. Nothing else in this form factor has the same combination of rugged design, clarity under night vision, and performance with a magnifier. But it looks kind of silly on a Scalarworks riser, so I give it a 0/10.

Right after this video was posted, SIG announced the Romeo 4T Pro, which has the improved glass coatings, and the NV button of the 4XT, but uses a normal CR2032 battery.

Support this channel on SubscribeStar so I can buy optics for MSRP as soon as they are released and then sell them for about 40 percent of that after I review them:

Amazon affiliate links to things in this video:
– You can buy the Romeo 4XT Pro on Amazon, but I bet it’s cheaper if you shop around.
– You can also roll the dice on an original Romeo 4T but the odds of getting a “good” one aren’t very high

  1. I have used the Holosun SIG ROMEO4T and the Holosun HE503CU side by side and i cant find a reason to spend $200 more on the Sig version of this red dot. Besides the included caps with the Sig version , they are identical in clarity and controls…size. Its almost as if they were manufactured side by side

  2. Hey there Hop, saw a Romeo 8H at my LGS and was trying to find differences between the 8H and 8T and noticed neither actually has the D.A.R.C. Coatings. Is that a mistake on Sigs website, or did you flub on the 8T having the same coatings as the 4XT Pro?

  3. How tf did you unscrew the front flip cap? I just got my 4xt pro in and want to replace that front cap but the battery compartment is in the way and I can’t unscrew the front cap lol

  4. I’m still a fan of the Romeo 4T – the slight blue tint w/ hex cap and better aluminum housing is my preferred setup and for a non-NV it’s a great value.

  5. Does this sit at the same height as a comp m5s, id want to use this with a FAST micro-s mount meant to bri g a comp m5s to 2.26 height
