Ruger SFAR review

When I first got my hands on the Ruger SFAR, I thought it was an AR15, but to my surprise, it was chambered in .308, but how?

It was small and so lightweight there was no way this is a .308 rifle.

After my initial shock, I immediately thought, “oh yeah, this thing is going to suck to shoot because of how lightweight and small it was.

Let me tell you; I couldn’t have been more wrong.

  1. First time I've seen someone "giddy" for a gun. I'm in the market for my first AR10 and I'm pretty sure this will be it. My only question is 16 or 20-inch barrel.

  2. It's quite attractive. But I won't trade my tuned AR15 for this. This is not proven for a primary weapon. Definitely needs CL. USA is wet salty country.

  3. Ive owned several lightweights AR pattern 308s. All of them required my additional investment in tuning. I've owned RevDI, Rogue, DPMSG2. One thing you will see is more fractional settings in the gen2 agb. There should be a 2.25, 2.5, 2.75 setting on their agb. 2, 3 is course for the range of 308 cartridges. 308 is a wide variety cartridge. 2 MOA is acceptable for a 16in AR308. Go research 16in 308 barrel harmonics. 16 is a very short distance to get high precision. 2MOA is good 👍. I suggest people wait for gen 2. I'll be getting rifle length gas 20in.

  4. I wouldn’t personally buy any gun that doesn’t sell parts kits for so I can work on my own rifle Ruger isn’t even selling the bolt carrier they claim you have to send it to them to work on

  5. I’ve owned the M5 and the 716i and shot all of the other major players except the POF Rogue. This video sold me and my SFAR should be delivered to my FFL soon! My Sig and M5 just felt dramatic. The weight and size really does make a difference.

  6. I understand the barrel is a heavier profile but they have trimmed the weight down everybody making AR-10 heavy pigs my aero Precision rifles have had weight reduction program with Faxon arms pencil barrels unfortunately I live in Washington and I cannot purchase this rifle the Communists have pulled the wool over the populace sheeples eye's with Draconian gun control on my carbine I have the Surefire Pro Comp muzzle brake Works superbly thank you counselor appreciate your Channel as a side note we are screwed in Washington this gun control BS will never be overturned I just don't see it

  7. Took it to the range today, I have no idea what magic ✨ Ruger used to get this thing to shoot as soft as my 5.56s do…this thing is glorious… ❤️

  8. I’ve been trying to get a gun … I want a pistol , one of these , and some kind of hunting rifle … I looked this gun up after seeing it on turners and it really caught my attention from the looks to how light it seemed in weight … I don’t know much about guns but would love to learn about them , how to clean , maintain , shoot , hold , walk/move , and hunt and etc … hopefully I can get my permit soon and go buy one !

  9. I'm still waiting for my Dark Storm Industries DS-25 AR in 308 for a year-and-a-half now it's ridiculous.

I've seriously considering canceling the order and buying the Ruger, it actually exists and it's being sold.
