The 512C is a budget minded Eotech style reflex sight with a lot more to offer than most. Tons of features and a long battery life really set this optic apart from the pack.

Holosun HS512C Red Dot Sight: http://bit.ly/2TeBGvY
Reason why it wasn't getting brighter indoors was because of the way you held it for the camera. It calculates the ambient light level by how much the solar panels get so when covered by your fingers it thought it was nighttime.
Did you say that Eotech is not known for durability?? Seriously? That's a first…lol
This Holosun 512C is on my TS 12 Bull Pup shot gun. At the range the Battery case came out without me noticing as the dark conditions in a indoor range not the best conditions. So I called Holosun with a answering machine telling me to E Mail them. E Mailed Holosun telling them the Battery case came out before I noticed at the range. Asked for a replacement Battery case with the handle – NOTHING ! So if you expect customer service FORGET IT. My sight was registered on their sight when I bought it !
I will never do business with optics planet again. If they are the only place that has something I want, I will do without it.
The Gold Dot version seems pretty Amazing!!!
Just picked this up 2 years later for $230 lol
I would put it on a bigger rifle
Optics advancements have come so far that there are many relatively inexpensive options options out there , the average gun enthusiast does not need to drop the dough on high end optics
Spending D head money on glass is basically the same thing as the gym rat who struts 3 laps around the gym after a set flexed out , it's all for show
This weight twice as much as the 510c. The only benefits I see are the solar panel and the enclosed rear. Granted those are big deal but the fact that the 512 is 8 oz seems like it’s a brick
Can we get a 2 year update?
Eotech needs to adopt a "shake awake" and better battery life tech. I know the battery life could be hard, the Eotech uses a true holographic laser-imposed reticle through prism/diffuser, which takes more power, whereas the Holosun is LED reflex, but I'm sure there's a solution in there somewhere. That said, companies like Holosun, Swampfox, PA, and others are really giving the big boys a run for the money.
It’s auto dimming feature and when your hands cover the panels it things there is low lighting to dim. It can be locked into a setting to stay consistent level
What’s your favorite optic for 8” 9mm banshee?
My 512c came in the mail yesterday. Looks amazing. Was on sale for $230. Couldn’t pass it up. Going on an 11.5” AR.
is this too big for a tactical shotgun?
Just bought one from PSA for $229.
Just got this for 229 from PSA 💯💯
Anybody with astigmatism run one of these? Would love your feedback Curious to how well this sight does with that.
The battery life is why I cut my EO Tech 512 loose. Great optic, battle proven. And like a 454 big block, it is stupid hungry lol
How much do you tighten the clamp bolt into the picatinny rail? 20 lbs/ inch with the torque wrench?
Do you have a Holosun Aems review coming out?
Anyone know how this would work with a sig juliet magnifier?
Anyone have a link to a good riser for the 512c?
I love my 510C. It's my favorite optic, even over my Eotech XPS3. Want to truly test it? Put it on top of a SCAR and put a few hundred rounds through it. If it holds zero and doesn't fall apart… It's a good optic
