Caldwell XLA 6″-9″ Pivot Bipod Review. this video I talk about the things i like and reasons i use the Caldwell xla 6-9 pivot bipod. this bipod is very light weight made of aluminum, it has a pivot angle of 20 deg. which is nice. the legs are spring loaded and notched for easy and quick deployment. there are pads on the bipod that protect your stock from getting worn or scratched. all in all this is a great bipod and the price is right at around 50 dollars canadian you cant ask for a better quality bipod. enjoy the video and please subscribe comment like and share!

  1. These comments below are quite aged. That's not a criticism, but rather, a note to say that, at least on the Amazon site for this bipod, there are some very worrisome comments (a small number of them I"ll admit) which indicate that not only does this bipod over time (even short periods of time) begin to wobble badly, but also, appears to be so poorly built overall that some who own them even suspect that the ones they purchased through Amazon were cheap, chinese-made replicas.

    So, beware.

  2. Great review, looking at getting one for my Savage Model 10. Same situation, not shooting over tall grass or anything and don't want to drop that much coin on a Harris.

  3. i have the same one. love it. champion makes decent ones too. I have used harris bipods and they aren't much different. not worth 2x the money IMO.
