Why does it say Made in China?
Nice marketing piece, but was hoping for detailed explanations. A little disappointed. I'll look elsewhere.
(Vortex) got everything figured out their customer service is fast,helpful,and very nice. I still recommend you go with vortex (out of everything I’ve bought from them which is a lot this is the only one that was broke /faulty) I can’t believe how quick they were to respond to me. I feel bad for this review after I talked to them. Guess I was just mad/upset because I bought this product in the middle of hunting season and it messed up. But here is my old review ( I bought one in November after I lost my other rangefinder hunting… if you plan on shooting over 225-250 yards forget it you mise as well throw your money in the trash. It worked great in close situations while bow hunting and stood up to the elements. But you can’t see a darn thing if there isn’t a fair amount of light or your in dead grass. Useless in low light or dark foliage like here in southern Oregon. I couldn’t get this to lock onto a pine tree 300 yards away with dead grass around it and middle of the day. Solid range finder but definitely not what I expected from vortex… pathetic, has any one else ran into these problems or did I just get a faulty product? Hopefully vortex will see this and we can arrange something because I know they’re better than this and I don’t want my review to stay this way. ( it didn’t you guys are awesome)

Does it actually work well in low light conditions?
i just picked my impact up yesterday and i love it! all of my optics are vortex and I will never buy anything else. After my grandpas tripod tipped over, breaking his vortex spotting scope, vortex sent him a new one really fast without any hassles and were extremely easy to work with. after that i was convinced that they are a company that stands behind their products.
When does this bad boy hit the stores?
